Museum of Mortal Guilt: The leaks

2026

In the early 2000s, several wet spots appeared overnight on the walls and ceilings of Lebanon's Museum of Mortal Guilt. The museum staff were certain these were water leaks. The plumbers contacted to address the suspected pipe damage diagnosed a different problem. They contended that the building had in fact soiled itself and/or secreted several sweat spots throughout its rooms.

Furthermore, they asserted that the building did so most likely out of fear, panic, anxiety, and/or nervousness. The plumbers presented their absurd findings in the six forms displayed here.
